THE ROPE

All of us are connected by a single rope, a thread, some hope. This rope like the old phone lines or the highways that are endless connect us to each other so that if one person pulls another person gives so that we rely on each other for strength with God as the great anchor. We are not like a game of tug of war where we constantly fight each other but we pull each other higher, we gather, we give, but no one lets go because in this world we are all connected and we leave no one behind. Now hold on tight to that rope, it’s all we have to keep us going and growing… and that’s each other.
